Cosmetic dentist, Dr. Christine Fialka-Eshenko has been practicing dentistry in Edmonton for the last thirty years and is very committed to continuing education. In the last three decades, dental materials and clinical techniques have been constantly changing and advancing.
In order to be able to offer the best dentistry for our patients, Dr. Fialka-Eshenko has committed to completing the extensive continuing education courses at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) in Nevada. By the end of 2009, she will have completed the Core Curriculum as well as other courses such as “The Art of Direct Resin” and “Sleep & Breathing Disorders.”
The dental team at our office has accompanied Dr. Fialka-Eshenko to these courses, so we are able to work together to provide patients with great smiles and excellent oral health. We all go above and beyond the basics and are dedicated to treating each of our patients just as we would like to be treated.
Treatment Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple: we listen carefully to our patients, and we encourage patient participation in the treatment and planning process. We provide each patient treatment options that include the best that dentistry has to offer, and we then let them choose what works best for them. We pride ourselves on doing a comprehensive examination.
Education
Dr. Fialka-Eshenko graduated from the University of Alberta Faculty of Dentistry in 1979. During her residency at the University of Alberta Hospital Dental Residency Program, she was exposed to many different cases that are not often observed in private practice. This allowed her to gain experience in providing dental care for patients with complex medical histories.

Dr. Fialka-Eshenko deeply believes in giving back to the community in which you live, both professionally and personally. She also believes it is both an honor and a privilege to serve the residents of Edmonton by providing superior dental care and treatment her Alberta neighbors. We do everything in our power to put nervous patients at ease and we assure all of our patients that we will create a treatment plan that suits them nicely.
Dr. Fialka-Eshenko’s husband is a principal with the Edmonton Public School Board, and she has two children. Her son is working on his Master’s in Petroleum Engineering, and her daughter has a BS in Physical & Environmental Sciences. The family enjoys traveling and staying healthy and fit. The family is also active in the Ukrainian Community in Edmonton.
